Run away (male option)

You realize that even if you cannot fully avoid a future of servitude, there is no reason that you should embracing it willingly or go right away. Any concern you have for the consequences to your family fades behind your anger at having been sold into slavery. Your parents never should have been so greedy, or so trusting.

You leave the large house with its ornate door behind and move toward the marketplace where you can easily disappear into the mass of hungry people.

Once you are safely away from the house you begin to contemplate your future. You don't have a penny to pay for food or lodging, and the clothes on your back are worn and threadbare. You also realize that it's easy enough to blend into the crowd for now, but soon enough you may be hunted like a criminal.

You will have to make some decisions fast. You could enjoy your last night of freedom, and then resign yourself to your future as a **** tomorrow. You could seek work here in the city and hope you are never discovered by your intended master. You could attempt to stow away on a ship and head off to some foreign land to seek your fortune. Or you could seek assistance, though even your most trusted friends are unlikely to want to get mixed up in your current predicament.
