Marlena rolls her eyes. "Oh, fine," she says. "John, you can come play with us."

"Fuck yes!" John says, pumping his fist in the air. He seems to be totally fine with the fact that none of the women really want him to be playing Truth or Dare with him, but you suppose that if you were in his position, you'd take what you can get, too.

The six of you head off down the hallway. Just before you arrive at the stairwell that can let you all down into the basement of the dorm, you run into both Ashley and Wally, who have clearly just had their tongues down one another's throats just a second ago.

"Hey!" Alaina says.

"Hey, Alaina," Ashley says, waving her hand proudly. Vampy as ever. "What're you guys up to?"

"We're gonna go play truth or dare in the basement," Greg says. "Want to join in?"

"That sounds like fun," Ashley says. "We'll do it. C'mon, Wally."

Wally looks pretty high out of his mind, but he's clearly okay with what's happening-- especially as it concerns Ashley and her intentions for him. "Yeah, sounds good to me," he says.

With that, your new eight-some enters the stairwell and begins the long trek down to the basement. You emerge into a dark room, with only a few light fixtures hanging from the ceiling. There's no decoration. It was once used as a laundry room, but the endlessly-breaking laundry machines led the dorm association to stop maintaining them. Since then, the space has been entirely abandoned to anyone except students who want some free space to themselves.

"How do we decide who goes first?" Salja says.

"I think we should change the rules. Instead of going in a chain based on who's asked what, the person sitting to the right of the person who's asking or daring should go next. That way everyone gets a turn. Nice and fair. And we'll sit girl-guy-girl to alternate."

The eight of you agree on that. Ultimately, the order goes you-Salja-John-Ashley-Greg-Alaina-Wally-Marlena and then back to you again. Not only that, but it's decided that you'll be the first one to pick someone to ask Truth or Dare to, too. So it's simply a matter of choosing someone to ask.
