Just before the curtain

Standing before the curtain Noelle felt the butterflies in her stomach. She knew she looked good and she had the confidence and a vague idea of what she was going to say but she was still full of nerves, it was after all her first time speaking in front of such a crowd who were rabid after the last match. Noelle had decided to dress plainly, a pair of black gym pants, trainers and a black NXT t-shirt. She wanted to feel like a member of the roster and didn't want anyone to assume she was just here because of name value. Psyching herself up she heard William Regal in the ring announcing the news of a new signing. Her. Almost shaking with apprehension now Noelle prepared to make her entrance but then someone called her from behind. Turning she saw a stage hand jogging towards her.

'Orders from management, they want you to wear this.' said the stage hand and passed her a red and black flannel shirt, the same type her father was infamous for wearing.

Looking at it in confusion Noelle went to ask a question but was interrupted by the stage hand.

'Orders come from HHH, no arguing with them.' and with that the stage hand was gone.

Glumly Noelle pulled on the shirt, finding that it was at least a perfect fit for her, even if she hadn't had her actual gear made up for her the costume department could at least get a shirt size right. Rolling up her sleeves Noelle heard her que and stepped out onto the stage. The crowd roared as Noelle stepped into view, Smiling and waving, walking down to the ring to a remix of her father’s old entrance theme. William Regal waited in the ring for her and even held the ropes open for her to enter before passing her the mic, whispering a few words of encouragement to her and bowing out, leaving Noelle alone in the ring, Time to sink or swim.
