Another howl ripples through the heavy silence of the Martyr's interrogation chamber. You step back, sweating, granting yourself a pause and view of your work.
Marius Kirchner is chained to an iron table, the blood from his severed finger trickling down over the side.
"I am gonna give you the mercy of asking again before I continue, Heretic. Who sells you your artifacts?" You had been torturing Kirchner for the past 5 hours and were feeling that you were somehow close to cracking him.
"Fuck you, you stupid, AARRGHHH", Kirchner's tirade is cut short as you grip him by his stump. "Stop, for the sake of AAARRRGGHH. Tra- Tramis X. Flight R- AAAARRRGHH Route BX55. That is all I know, i swear."
You eye him sceptically.
"You are making progress, Marius."
Kirchner's torn grimace of a face relaxes slightly. Only to mirror Horror as you snip your fingers and a previously concealed Ri'ven joins your side.
"See if he knows anything else. Incinerate the body when you are done."
As the black steel doors slam together behind you, you hear Kirchner uttering out sobbing cries for mercy, followed by perversly impressive curses. With a grim smile you move on, sure never to hear that voice again.
