Pokedex entry: It feeds on the nectar and pollen of flowers. Because it's able to sense auras, it can identify which flowers are about to bloom.

Anyways, there's a little fork in the road here, too, but one of the paths doesn't lead anywhere, according to your map that Rotom shows, except to another Trainer. It's up to you to decide if you want to take the time to battle another one or not.
