Pulling up to the house.

I start thinking back to what dad said about the house being crowded. What the hell did he mean by that?

Dad has a huge house, some might call it a mansion, but seriously it was just home to me. As we pull up I see a few very nice cars parked in front. Huh, it's not like him to leave his cars out front, especially when he's out of town.

As the cab pulls to a stop the cabby leans back and looks at me "Hey, man this is a nice place you got here, but then again why wouldn't ya. Hey take my card, you call me anytime you need a ride, I won't charge ya a dime."

I take the card and hand him a ten, he was nice after all wanna keep him on my side. Besides $10 is a lot less than it would have been and he's offering free rides anywhere. "Thanks man"

As he drives off I head up to the front door and pull out my keys, I know I have the key around here somewhere. Then I realize it's was on the key ring with my apartment keys. Fuck! Lets hope one of the maids is around. I start knocking.

I pound on that door hoping that someone is there or I'm going to be sitting out here till someone gets here. But no answer.
