On the Strip

Laughing, the four of you take the elevator to the ground floor. The clatter and bright lights of the casino surround you as you step out of the elevator, with shouts of triumph punctuating the noise of slot machines.

Steph is bouncing on her toes with excitement, staring at the tables of players and the banks of machines.

"So cool!" she squeals. "This is just like the movies!"

"Settle down girl," Amy says with a laugh. "Lets go check out the Strip before you start losing your scholarship money." Steph makes a pouty face, then laughs and grabs Amy's arm.

"Lets go! This town hasn't seen anything like us four," she laughs as the four of you head out of the casino and out onto the Strip.

You buy plastic cups of frozen daiquiris from a stand just outside the door, and head off down the wide sidewalks, chattering and giggling to each other as you sip your drinks. The sidewalks are wide but crowded with tourists running the gamut from dazed looking families to tired looking groups of old people to groups of young people like yourselves. You notice that your group catches the eye of several parties of young men, and you put a flounce in your walk and a wiggle in your hips to let them know what they're missing.
