Your sword and more

You're getting angry now. You're obsessed with wiping that smirk off Milly's face and getting even. Without even thinking about the consequences, you plunk down your sword and snatch the dice away from her.

"You're going to beat her this time," you think to yourself. "You're going to beat her, and get your armor back, and your clothes, and then you're going to strip her naked and see how she likes it."

You're so distracted thinking up humiliating things you'll make her do that you fail to see the pips magically shifting on the dice as you roll them.

You fling them into the bowl with all of your might, convinced that this time, this time you'll win, only to see they rolled... all 1s again.

You let out a cry of anguish at your latest loss. You slap your hands on the ground as tears well up in your eyes. Your opponent grabs the dice and begins to roll, but it's really just a formality at this point, and soon enough she's taking her new sword and tossing it in the bag.

"Well, I do believe that's everything," she says with a smile as she begins to shoulder her backpack.

"WAIT!" You cry out, your face red with a mix of anger and shame. "I've got something else to bet. But if I win this time, then not only do I get everything back, but you have to do what I say."

"And what could you have that could possibly be worth all that?" She asks in a sickeningly innocent tone.

"My keep," you say. "I'll wager my keep, the land its on, and all my other possessions against you. But when I win, you have to become my slave."

"Fine," she says as she drops her bag on the floor once more. "But I'm going first this time. It's more dramatic that way."

She blows on the dice and rolls them again, but as she's throwing them, her wrist turns at an awkward angle, messing up her throw. The dice bounce into the dish and this time she gets... only a 4!

Your heart leaps into your throat. You can feel all of your bad luck flying away! You start laughing. Not a normal happy laughter, but the crazy kind like someone who's delirious from eating one too many of the elves' special mushrooms.

You pick up the dice, letting out a deep breath as you start to shake them. Milly's confidence appears to have suddenly evaporated and is looking on with grave concern. You throw the dice and get...

You sit there in stunned silence as the weight of what just happened slowly starts to sink in.

YOU'VE LOST EVERYTHING!

Your armor, your sword, your clothes, your keep, everything! It's all gone! You feel the tears welling up in your eyes. Your breath becomes ragged as your chest tightens.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO!?

Milly draws up a piece of paper (where did that come from?) and slides a pen into your limp and unresponsive hand. She squeezes it shut, and lifts it to the paper, wiggling your hand around so you can sign away your life.

You've got nothing left. You stare in shock at your feet.

"Well, that's it," Milly says as she makes a show of dusting off her hands.

Nothing left...

"Oh look, the rain's stopped, I guess I'll be on my way..."

Nothing...?

You suddenly come out of your stupor and grab her by the hand, pleading for one last roll. You tell her she can keep your armor, your sword and the land and the keep and everything else, but at least give you one last try to win back your clothes.

The thought of being alone in the wilderness, completely naked and vulnerable is more than you can bear, let alone the utter humiliation you'll feel when you finally run into someone. You're already going to be the laughing stock of the kingdom when word gets out about how you lost you lands, but at least give you this last chance.

"And what do I get if I win...?" asks the girl, her tail wagging excitedly behind her (and conveniently just outside your line of vision).
