A way out of the haunted house

Jake thought for a moment.

"Can you get me out of this place?" he asked.

The Baron considered for a moment.

"I cannot transport you directly out of here", he said, "but I can give you something to help."

"Ok!" Jake said excitedly. "What is it?"

"A token", Baron Saturday explained. "It will help you escape."

He snapped his fingers. Ropes sprang out of thin air, and wrapped themselves around Jake.

"What are you doing?" Jake yelled.

Baron Saturday smiled cruelly.

"I will give you your token", he said, "but first, I need to get my payment."

"Payment? What type of payment?" Jake asked.
