Tend to the Patrons

You give yourself one last look over in the mirror. Melody was right you did make one sexy barmaid. You straighten your dress and let Melody help down to the bar. Apparently the boots you were wearing had been replaced with high heels. It was surprising after a few unsure steps you were able to walk like a supermodel.

When you walk down the stairs the Bartender applauds. "Excellent, she'll fit right in. You owe me a lot of money, miss. Better get good tips tonight."

You nod, but the Bartender shakes his head. "You'll have to be a lot more cheerful than that. Drunkards aren't going to want a serious girl serving them with that attitude."

You put on a fake smile, "Yes sir," you say.

"Better," he admits, "But either you get good tips or you are stuck like this."

Melody shows you to the front of the tavern away from the Bartender. "I'll help you as best I can," she says, "But he's right if you don't flirt with the patrons and be nice they'll tip you poorly."

"But I'm a guy," you say.

She hushes you, "Don't be so loud. If they find out you are a guy they'll definitely not tip you... you need a new name too. How about Isabel?"

"Sure whatever," you say dryly.

"I'm trying to help," she says, "Nut up the rush is about to start."
