Chapter 3 by ofhabit ofhabit

On whom do I dwell?

Think of others

Another college girl that comes to mind is Grace. Tall and thin, she always wore her brunette hair up and tied and sported a pair of thin-rimmed glasses. Grace was a bookworm, though there was a sense of pent up energy about her that gave more of a 'hot librarian' than a 'geek' vibe. I guess two good words to describe the impression she left on me are 'mature' and 'smoldering.' I shared several classes with Grace during my time in school, and always (subtley) tried to work with her on group projects. She was appreciably smarter than I, and I found that quite sexy.

Trixie was on the other side of the coin. She was girlish instead of womanish, silly instead of serious, a ritalin junkie airhead that was just as often obnoxious as irrepressible. I'm not sure if Trixie was her real name, or if she just went by it because she felt it better matched her personality. Trixie was a strange girl, often wearing garish and/or ill-fitting outfits, and doing her best to make her actions speak more loudly than her attire. But she was uninhibited, almost to a fault, and there is a certain sexiness to that, if you can see past the sideshow that is caused by and that masks that fact.

Then there's Carrie. Carrie was a drunk. There are other things to be said about her, but first and foremost, she was a girl that liked to party, and liked to do it somewhere between halfway and completely out of her mind.

Think of whom?
