"I'd like to try being a brunette," you say.

"Okay," Mrs. Anderson says and studies your face intently. "I'm just working out what shade would look best."

She walks over to a cupboard and takes out a box. She has you go to the sink and washes and conditions your hair, whistling while she works.

Then she has you return to her styling chair and sets to work at the long tedious process of dying your hair. "I think you'll really like it when it's done, Parker," she says. She separates your hair into sections and dyes it and then has you sit waiting for a while. The two of you chat for a bit while you wait.

She then rinses your hair and conditions it and has you wait a bit longer. Finally she rinses it out and restyles it. She has you look in the mirror. "Oh," she says, "that's beautiful. Congratulations, you're now a beautiful brunette. Will there be anything else?"
