Whatever it is, you don't want it to find you! You flip the only piece of furniture in the corridor, a cheap table, on its side, and crouch behind it. The footsteps get louder, and louder, and louder, until...

You hardly believe your eyes. A giant, pile of scrap bursts through the side of the building, causing a large chunk of the ceiling to collapse. At first you think it must've been some kind of projectile, but when it picks itself up and starts to move, you realise what it is; a robot! Or rather, a mecha.

You almost forget to move your slack jawed behind cover when the swarm of infected that it'd been fighting follow it inside through the rubble. You've never seen them so pissed! They rush to it, trying to climb on top and weigh it down with sheer numbers, but the mecha's swinging arm and blaring chain gun keep them at bay. It them stumbles back out through the hole it came in through, continuing the fight outside where it isn't constrained by the walls and ceiling. The infected follow it, completely focused on fighting this giant robot.

It'd be a perfect opportunity to run away from this madness.
