The Party Aftermath

In the following weeks after your birthday party, it seem as if things are beginning to go back to normal between you and Natalie. When she first arrived, she made it clear that she was your teacher. However, she still treated you as a friend. It was different, but she was still nice to now. Now, it feel as if things has gone back to how it was before she went to college. She teases you during class in a friendly way and she seems almost flirtatious with you. She clearly has no love for Olivia. Although you hope that doesn't make Olivia's life harder in her class.

Speaking of Olivia...Your relationship with her has never been better! You had worried that the sudden reappearance of your closest female friend other than her would put a strain on your love life. Yet despite Natalie and Olivia not getting along, she has been closer to you than she has ever been previously. It seem as if the fears of her getting super jealous of Natalie has not come to fruition...at least not yet.

As September ends, it isn't time to get comfortable just yet. You may have a comfortable relationship with Olivia and be on good terms with Natalie. There is plenty of time to improve things or make things worse. You still have eight months of your senior year yet, but at any point things may change dramatically. You walk a dangerous line between Natalie and Olivia and while there might seem like a truce. Looks might be deceiving and anything could cause an all out war. At worst, Natalie may ask the administration to send you to another class and Olivia may break up with you. If that happens, your senior year may be quite lonely indeed.
