After another six hour driving shift, this time by Alex as he had mostly recovered from his hangover, the trio of friends were six hours away from the next stage of their lives. Alex pulled over at a gas station and filled up the gas, before Mark hopped into the driver's seat, and started the home stretch last six hours of driving. Everyone in the car did their own thing to pass the time, and Mark did some thinking. Three days ago, Mark had only slept with one woman before, and that was Sophie. Now, he had slept with two more women who he would most likely be meeting again on campus, and he got the number of the cheerlead captain and baseball team batgirl, before Alex took it away from him. Mark didn't worry too much about the lost number, because he would most likely be seeing her at the first team practice tomorrow morning. Mark was technically going to USC for Business, although the real reason he was going there, was because of USC's baseball program and the chances of getting drafted into the MLB. Mark asked the others if they wouldn't mind listening to some music, and when they gave their OK, he turned on the radio, and tried to find some good tunes playing in the area. By nine o clock, Mark pulled the car into the main residence building, where all three of them would be staying. Mark parked the car, and then started to remove the bags from the car. Once everyone had their bags, Mark gave Sophie the keys to her car back, and they entered the residence building. The receptionist took their names, and told them their roommates, Mark and Alex were rooming together. Mark and Alex high fived, and Alex took both their bags and the key and went up to their room, as he knew that Mark would probably want to set Sophie in for the night. Mark saw what room he was in, then waited as the receptionist looked for Sophie's roommate. Finally Sophie's roommate was announced as Alice, who was already moved in, Sophie thanked the woman at the front desk and shared a glance with Mark. No way that it was the same Alice, there must be tons of Alices on campus they thought.

As Sophie and Mark climbed the stairs to the second floor, and to Sophie's room which was a couple doors down from the stair entrance. Sophie opened the door and there stood Alice, as in _the _Alice. Mark recovered first "Alice, so nice to meet you again!" Alice looked at him shocked

"You! I know you, I was drunk wasn't I? What was your name? Oh yeah .....Mark was it?"

"Yeah" Mark said impressed. "I know that it's getting pretty late, so I'll let you two get to know each other, and do your think, alright?"

"Yeah, that would be great babe" Sophie said, and emphasized the word babe, to Alice's notice. Alice raised an eyebrow, and Mark quickly intervened by giving Sophie a kiss, and while his mouth was on hers he told her to behave. He then smiled and waved at the two girls before leaving. Mark breathed the free air again once the door closed behind him, he would not want to be rooming with those two, especially with the kind of tension in that room. He mad his way up to his and Alex's room, and opened it to see it for the first time, he then helped Alex unpack their bags and get ready for bed.
