You give her the summary version of your conversation with your nanites.

"That's amazing! How cool is that to have your own creation thinking independently and communicating with you?"

"It's a little unnerving." You express your concerns. "I mean, they've already changed so much. What happens if they evolve further and rebel against their programming? Or quit functioning? I wouldn't trade my life for anything, but I sometimes forget that I'm basically held together by a bunch of tiny robots and without them I'm just a regular guy."

"Hey, you don't make it here," Kara holds her arms out, gesturing to the Watchtower, "just because you have powers. You're a hero at the core." She pokes you in the chest. "Tiny robots or not, you have a place here. Now stop worrying your pretty head about this. Superhero Rule #24: Know when to step back and decompress. And tonight is that night."

More relaxed now, the two of you port down to Vegas and make your way to the venue. Along the way you chitchat about random stuff. Upon picking up your tickets, apparently Kara got VIP passes on account of knowing the performer, so she drags you backstage and knocks on the star's dressing room door.

"NEPO!" you hear from inside the room and the door swings open. "Kara!"

"Zee!" The scene reminds you of a high school cheerleader reunion with the squealing and the jumping and the hugging. You're a little surprised that Zatanna is not wearing her trademark outfit this close to the start of the show. Instead she is wearing a tight-fitting blue tank top and black leggings. You can't help but wish you were in the middle of that superheroine sandwich as they bounce up and down against each other.

"It's been way too long. Come in, come in!" she ushers the two of you inside as things finally calm down. "And who is this hunky piece of man meat you've brought along this evening?"

Kara gives her friend a smack on the shoulder. "This is Shad. He's the newest member of the League."

"Nice to meet you." You extend a hand.

"Come on, now." Zatanna ignores your hand and instead gives you a tight squeeze of a hug. "No need to be so formal." You're a little out of your element here, but you sort of return the hug. "Mmm You're a solid one." She gives your arm an extra squeeze.

"Um thanks?"

"Hah those girls are going to eat you alive. Or maybe this one has already staked her claim?" Zatanna gives a nudge toward Supergirl, who responds with another smack to her friend's shoulder.

"Shut it, Zee!"

"Whatever." They both giggle. "Sit and help yourselves." With a gesture and a "SROH SERVUEO'D!" the table in front of you is filled with appetizers. The three of you sit and you mostly listen (and chow down) as the two friends catch up.

"Kara, you have to let me borrow him." Supergirl gives her friend a WTF stare. "Not like that! Unless you're into...nevermind. For the show, of course! I use audience members for a bunch of the tricks and I have the perfect one for you. What do you think?"

"Sure, if he wants to."
