"That's impossible! They were on board a Grey ship with no way out, getting blasted by a Draykchin armada. How could you know that anyway ?" You asked her suspiciously. The comm array was destroyed and she knew things about the Greys ship, they might know some about ours.

"Our comm are dead but some scanners are still good and they can detect radiations and electromagnetic frequencies. I did a scan and a deep analysis of it. In the static and the interferences, I found a distress signal." She explained.

As she did you checked with you implant and there it was, insignifiant light blurry signal among the normal background and the concert of the space battle, the weapons and exploding ships filling the screen of the radiation detector every few minutes.

"You translated it?" You asked.

"In short, the squad killed 90% of their crew before being locked in a cell block. The last 10% died on its own or from the battle. The 16 Valkyr survivors are in an automated cell that will feed them until a Grey comes to pick them up." She explained.

"How damaged is this ship? And did you tell Tania?" You asked

"Not that much and no." She replied shortly.

"Until we are sure it can be achieved it would be better not to tell her that. She'll insist on a rescue mission. While I agree that it would be a good idea especially if we get a working Grey ship out of it, we are not ready for it and rushing would only get us dead or in the next cell block on this ship." You order her.

"Exactly my thouht Captain, but you on the other hand had to know. " she told you.

"A squad a of Valkyr marines in my debt would ne nice but a full working Grey ship would be the biggest tech advancement since the first contact. With it we could build whole fleets of hybrid superior ships and wipe out the little sociopaths and the big scally bastards. " you ended.

Now you had to view the ship repair with a rescue/boarding action in mind rather than simply flying away as fast as possible.

Also to find a way to tell Tania this in a manner that will make her wait for you to be ready to go and not kill you for hiding it from her before.
