Holy magic

It's kind of ironic how you, despite the affinity to the magic of gods are still resented as though you were a heretic, isn't it? There actually were a lot of people who were amazed by your magic at first but looked at you in fear and hate as soon as they wound out it was artificial, avoiding you afraid you were to somehow go into a blind rage or something.

The funny thing is that your magic focuses heavily on blessings and miracles ranging from healing of wounds to buffs in strength, endurance and speed making you think people would love to have around, right? Even more so when you consider that your "Roar of the holy dragon" actually dispels undead as well as demonic or unholy creatures as they'll simply turn into ash upon hearing it!

By the time you finished that train of thought you find yourself at the last page of the form where it simply asks you for your name as well as the date and place of signing. Quickly you write down all three and hurry to the post office, hoping it's still open so late in the evening.

About an hour and a half later you open the door of your small home somehow both incredibly happy and unbelievably afraid of what's to come. then again you haven't actually fully decided on what to do yet, have you? You might want to at least try and join a guild, maybe they're not as bad as you think. On the other hand, the more questionable guilds would gladly have such powerful magic on their side and the people of this land haven't exactly been kind to you so why should you care for them? You could, however also just take things into your own hands and freelance. Lost in thought about your future you don't notice the hours passing by and eventually drift away into sleep...
