Doe stands and walks over to you. She wraps her arms around one of yours, folding her hands together. Even more noticeably, she wraps her legs at the ankles around your leg. You both watch as the last of the excited men run to the defeated Anna. Doe seems surprised that you’re not among them.
“Don’t you want to be a part of that?”, she asks, looking deeply into your eyes, as though it’ll tell her if you’re honest or not. “Why would I want to have a piece of that… when I could have this all to myself”, you ask, gesturing toward her.
“Now,” she says, “even if you’re not going to be involved in the work in your office, I should get back to work.” You nod slightly and say, “Fine. Your first job is…”
