You can't help it. You can't just flip on some naughty switch in your head and go with it. You have to make sure this is real and this is okay. You feel your body tremble with anticipation and anxiety. There's no denying that what's potentially about to happen is very wrong.
"Explain what exactly?" Katie asks.

You're not sure when you might be able to believe that this is really happening.
