Chapter 6
by Haledar
Did Jane manage to fight back?
Not quick enough
Jane moved her free hand down to her chest. She knew that there were throwing stars on the belt across her body. If only she could reach them.
As fast as lightning something slapped against Jane's wrist. She could feel the meaty object coiling around her arm, but she could do nothing to stop it. Before long, Jane felt her body being stretched out on the ground. The woman fought and pulled and thrashed as much as she could, but the creature was simply too strong.
She was unable to focus on the creature, but the dim glow of the old tunnel let her see the thing's shape. It's main body was round and long like a rugby ball. It had to have been at least a meter and a half long. She couldn't see well enough to count, but she could tell that there were a number of tentacles protruding from the end closest to the young woman.
The strong limbs pulled at Jane's weaker ones. Her arms were pulled over her head, her legs were splayed wide beneath her. As much as she tried to struggle, the creature was far too strong for her. She could see the looming dark shape bending down to her face. A sound like bellows being filled with air filled her ears. The thing appeared to be sniffing her.
Jane turned her head and gritted her teeth. She had a bad feeling about what would come next.
