Three Hours Later

Over by the shuttle, she saw Tali and Wrex chatting with Cortez. The blue doctor nodded to her comrades before boarding the shuttle. It was only right that they be the ones who went to Hackett, being that they were Shepard's original team.

During the descent, Cortez offered the group a live feed from outside the shuttle, most cameras pointed toward the mostly destroyed Citadel. Already, the massive station was suspended by more dreadnoughts then any single fleet would have, the gravity dampeners yet to be repaired as the ships worked as anchors to keep the station from falling to Earth's surface, but not being strong enough to pull it away quite yet.

Along with the dreadnoughts, more ships than an Asari could count in a lifetime were dotted throughout the stations arms and Presidum as massive repairs, with the help of the ever vigilant keepers, who had somehow survived the blast on the citadel which knocked out most electronics, were being made swiftly and expertly.

"Message coming in from Admiral Hackett." Cortez called back before putting the Admiral up on the small shuttle screen.

"Admiral.. What is it that you have found?" T'Soni is first to speak as everone gazes at the marred face of the human fleets' best Admiral. (Following the **** of Admiral Anderson naturally.)

"Better that we show you when you arrive.. We're in London right now at ground Zero, just sifting through as much damage as possible. We got the Relay working almost right after it was destroyed, so a few ships have been sent out to the various homeworlds to try and join in a mass effort to piece togther everyworld piece by piece." The Admiral seems calm with the news, even following it up with better news. "All the major heads of government and civilizaions have agreed that rebuilding after the loss of numerous lives needs to be everyone's priority, and so we have been pulling worlds together to help rebuild those hit hardest, namely Earth and Thessia. Tuchanka never really had anything left to destory and the Salarians managed to dig in and repel the invasion forces across most of their worlds... But the Batarians are now completely extinct." He describes more news about interstellar cooperation once thought impossible. The council naturally survived by hiding on an uncharted world and only recently coming back into contact, immediately beginning their duties of trying to organize whatever efforts they could, so no one would be running around without a task at hand.
