Investigate the patch of wood
Carefully, Jake pressed the patch of wood. It moved at his touch. He pressed it harder, and heard a click. Jake jumped back, sure that something dangerous was going to appear, but nothing happened. He looked back at the headboard, and noticed that the wood had fallen out. Beneath it was a dark, hidden compartment.
