"I want you to pretend to still be a good little straight girl," Jenna said. "Keep an ear to the ground. Eventually people are going to start noticing changes around here. I want to know what the rumors are. I may want to plant some of my own to keep things confused until we're ready to come out into the open."

Tricia nodded. "And at the same time I'll be picking off girls, seducing them."

Jenna shook her head. "Nope. You might blow your cover. You're going to have to live straight. No touching other girls. If any of them hit on you, turn them down."

Tricia looked horrified. "No sex? That'll be ****!"

Jenna smiled, but the grin did not reach her eyes. "Yes," she said, "it will. Think about what you put me through while you're going half-crazy from the frustration. Call it... penance. I'd say a good Christian girl like you must be familiar with the concept, but considering how much trouble you had with the idea of mercy..." Seeing the look of abject misery on Tricia's face, Jenna relented... a little. "Cheer up. It won't be forever. I plan to let you off the hook eventually, which is more than I can say you were willing to do with me."

Whatever response Tricia had to that would have to wait, because Jenna's phone started to vibrate at that moment. Holding up a preemptory hand to stifle further debate, she pulled it from her pocket. "Hello?"
