Wait and see what happens.

You aren’t sure what Amanda was trying to do when she told Dwayne what she said and you want to see what she does. You know Dwayne is an ass, but you didn’t think Amanda would even say something like that much less do something like that. Now, you want to see if Amanda remains faithful or if she cheats on you just because she’s mad at you. So, you listen to them to see what happens. Nothing is said till five minutes have passed.

You hear Dwayne say rather smugly, “It seems that your boyfriend, Matthew, isn’t coming for you. I think I heard him leave even. It’s time for that sex you promised me.” While Amanda's voice is almost a squeak as she responds, “I was just saying that because I knew Matthew would forgive me and come up … and check on me. I … don’t feel all that well. I… feel… funny and … a little … horny.” Dwayne's reply makes your stomach churn as you hear him. “Hush now. Everything is going to be ok. Me and you are just going to have a little fun. Now just lay back and relax.” This is followed by sounds coming from the room that sound as if they are moving around on the bed. He is likely undressing Amanda so that he can have his way with her.

You quickly try the door, but find that it’s locked. Dwayne must have locked it while they were waiting the five minutes to see if you would show up. You stayed away just long enough for Dwayne to keep you out. Now you know for sure the mother was in on it and so going to get her help won’t do any good. Maybe Mr. O’Reilly or Miss Winters would be of some help, but you aren’t sure where they are or if they would help. You could also try breaking down the door, but it seems rather sturdy. Whatever you decide to do though needs to be soon as you can hear Dwayne already starting to mess with Amanda.
