Blunther Academy

This is Margret Thirsten." The chief gestured to the woman, who rose to shake hands with Shannon. She was tall, thin with a stern face, in her mid forties though she'd obviously had work done. Her suit cost more then everything Shannon owned. Obviously a very wealthy woman. After they shook hands the chief went on.

"Mrs. Thirsten recently sent her daughter to the Blunther Academy." Chief explained. "It's a place where wealthy families to send troubled daughters. An all girl's academy to teach tradition values. Strict discipline to whip rebellious teens into shape."

"Anyways, Mrs. Thirsten was greatly troubled by what her daughter told her when she returned. Allegations of ****, and possibly much more."

"I see." Shannon said. Not the **** ring she'd been hoping for, but it was better then nothing! It sounded like an easy job. "So you'd like me to pose as a member of the staff and infiltrate the school?"

"Uh... no." Chief Richards looked uncomfortable. "The Academy is locked down. They have their own security. Most of the cleaning staff is automated, and the teachers are all hired personally by the headmistress. See, that's why you're perfect for this job. The only way in... is to pretend to be a student."

"Wait, are you serious?" Shannon asked, shocked. "I thought you said it was a school for teens."

"Yes, and you're my youngest female officer. It will be difficult, we'll have the science division make sure you totally look the part. They'll probably be able to do it without physical alteration." Shannon looked at him, dumbfounded.

"Look, this is a very unusual case. To be blunt, the only reason we're dealing with it is because of Mrs. Thirsten's generous donations. I can't **** you to do it but if you refuse... well, the case dies."

Shannon's head spun. Pretend to be a teenage girl? She already had such a struggle gaining proper respect with her cute, youthful appearance. It was frightening and somewhat demeaning to use that to compete a case. And yet, this was a chance of a lifetime. She was the only one who could do it, and chief was practically begging.

"I'll do it." Shannon said finally.
