You find a job at the mall

You spend most of the day looking around town trying to get a job, but most people won't hire you because you have to become pregnant, meaning that they will either lose you because a.) You become pregnant or b.) You become incarcerated for an unknown period of time because you're not pregnant. Someone suggests that you look around at the mall at the other side of town and you manage to get lucky. A new toy story is opening there and, once you meet the employer, they want you to start as soon as they open.

Your friend, Skylar, also manages to land a job at mall, so you two head back to the shelter to celebrate. This is the first step to independence and both of you are quite excited.
