Wait for your roommate

You lie on your bed, reading a book. After a few minutes, the door opens, and a guy walks in. He has wavy blond hair, and piercing eyes, and you can see the corner of a tattoo poking out from under his t-shirt.

"Hey", he says as he throws himself onto the free bed. "I'm Jake. What's your name?"

"I'm Luke", you reply.

You put your book down, and sit up so that you can see Jake better. You talk for some time, each of you outlining your trip so far, and giving each other advice and recommendations. After around twenty minutes, you notice Jake pressing his hand to his groin.
