She responds that student-teacher relationships are wrong

Professor Hallmark straightened herself in her chair before responding a matter of factly, "Those rules are there for a reason, to protect the student. There is an uneven distribution of power between a student and a teacher and the teacher could use this to their advantage and make a student do something." She paused for a moment before continuing, "I do not know what teacher your friend is interested in, but the teachers I know would all tell you the same thing. Even if the teacher were interested, I don't think they would risk their career."

"Thank you professor." Chris said as he got up, "You've been a lot of help. I will pass your advice on to my friend." Chris then left Shauna Hallmark's office and headed back to his apartment.
