What do you do?
But you really just want to talk to her!
She looks a trifle miffed about it. "Bah, fine, I guess tha' we could pass the time till my sister comes back. I kinda really wanted to get fucked, but fine, whatever, we can talk," she nibbles on the speared orange as she sits down, "wha' do you wanna' talk about?" Well you suppose the thing you'd like to know most about is why she's talking to you right now, and not ripping your guts out. "Well, we'll see about tha', you never know when I could change my mind, heh-heh-heh." You laugh nervously. "Nah, I kid. Honestly, I don't kno'! Or I guess I dunno' the specifics." She waves the half eaten orange in your face. "Got somethin' to do with deze. The vitamin-C maybe? Either way, it ain't pernament, it's just fer' a lil' while, an hour or two, tops."
"Yeah yeah, you're prob wondering how I know tha'. You'd haffta' ask my sister, she's the one that actualy found tha' out. It happened, well, just when the whole mess started. Me, my sis', my Ma' an' my Pa' were on the road back from our camping trip from up north. Ma' wasn't feeling too hot at the time, we figured it was just a bug she caught while we were in the woods..." she hesitated for a moment, but continued on with her story, "...but like, she suddenly went fuckhin ballistic! Like growlin' an' stuff, clawing at Pa'! I mean, they'd usually fight, but like, something was wrong tha' time, there was blood... And I guess Pa' lost control of the car. That's why we're down 'ere. You can still see those, uh, metal bannister stuff on the side of the highway? Yeah, those, you can see where the car crashed through up there." You look out the window, and at the hill behind the treeline. You didn't realise the highway was so close. "Well I guess the trailer detached an' hit the tree here. We continued on rollin' down in the car, an' like... Well I guess I must've bumped my head or somethin' and passed out, cause I don't really remember much till a little bit after the crash. I woke an' I couldn't see much, it was dark, I couldn't find my sis', so I started shoutin' out for help, which kinda' turned out to be a bad idea, cause turns out my Ma' was still there. Though she wasn't really Ma' anymore. Anyway, she was covered in blood, an' I was really scared, and I guess, heh, I guess I kinda' passed out again." She blushes sheepishly.
"When I came to again, I was in this trailer, restrained at the bed. Turns out my sis' was still feedin' me an' taking care of me for like, almost two weeks, even though I was turned into... well, into one those 'things' by my Ma'." You notice she doesn't seem perticularly bitter about it. "I suppose not, it's just the way things are I guess. She burried her and what was left of Pa' out in the forest, but she didn't have the heart to kill me. Heh, good thing right, cause otherwise I wouldn't be talkin' to ya', heh-heh-heh!" She pulls out a cigarette, and lights it with a match. "Want one?" You politely decline.
"Suit yourself."
You both sit there in silence for a little while, mulling over what she said, as she puffs and taps the cigarette over the window.
"You sure you don't wanna' fuck? It's fine, you won't turn like me if you're wearing a rubber." She itches at her scabs on her elbow.
What do you do?
