Nervous about my nakedness, and knowing the best way to get over a fear is to confront it.

Forcing my hands to my sides, I walk down the steps of the stage. I pause at the bottom, every eye in the place on me, watching to see what I do. I feel a flutter in my chest, a hint of excitement warring with my fear.

"Don't be shy there little lady," A gruff looking man wearing a leather vest with several patches sewn onto it says, a hint of a smile on her bearded face, "Come say hello, introduce yourself," His smile suddenly grows with amusement, "Besides, most of us don't bite, and those of us who do only bite playfully." He winks.

I take a deep breath, half closing my eyes as I try to calm my nerves once more.

I let my eyes linger on the gruff looking man for a few more seconds, then let my attention drift over the rest of the crowd.
