"You always start with the bad news." Tracer answered and continued drinking her tea, although her hand now trembled slightly.

"The bad news is that this glove is broken." Wild coughing could be heard as Tracer chocked on her tea. She managed to get "What?" out in between to coughs. "The glove's circuits are fried, thing wont won't work anymore."

Tracer almost teared out here hair but she was too occupied with coughing. When she had finally calmed down she let out a long breath. “Okay, love, there was something about good news?”

“I can replicate the glove, but it would be less effective.” “About how much less effective are we talking about?” If it was even half she still had one day to save the day, find somebody who was willing to fuck here, which was apparently everyone, and rent a nice hotel before she would feel the need to get her brains get screwed out.

Tracer blinked a few times as she wondered when she had become completely fine with her current state. Her train of thought was disrupted by Athena’s answer. “About one hour.” That was good news. “So I will have roughly 47 hours? That’s no big deal, why do you scare me so much, love.”

“It seems I have confused you with my choice of words.” Athena said apologetic. “Not one hour less effective, the new duration is about one hour.”

Tracer got up, walked over to the refrigerator and searched for something alcoholic in between all the jars of peanut butter. “Now that’s just great.” Tracer said as she found a bottle of whiskey. “Oh well, better one hour than none isn’t it?” she took a huge swig out of the bottle.
