Head for the pub

You decide to go down to the pub, 'the Pig and Whistle, and hope that there's still at least a pint left for you. You avoid a couple downers outside by taking the back entrance. The interior is dark and grimy, though honestly it's always been like that. The whole place seems to have been gutted, though some of the tables and stools remain, serving as a makeshift barricade, though it doesn't look like it did much good, as there's a lot of dry blood on the ground. You wonder who's it is, until you realise it doesn't matter, and frankly, you don't care.

You wander over to the bar, telling a joke about a horse walking into a bar as a goof. The pub remains silent, the same reaction you got when it was full. Psh, don't know a good joke when they see one! Joking aside, you really hope you find something, a bottle of cider, some drops in the taps, anything.

There's also a menacingly dark looking set of stairs behind the bar leading to the basement. Maybe if you're lucky, you'll find something to drink there.
