Chapter 10 by DirtyDoc79 DirtyDoc79

How do you respond to Lord Stark?

Graciously

"Thank you my lord, I am unworthy of the honor." You say sincerely.

"Nonsense. This new information is invaluable. And holding the Twins was a stoke of genius. It should cut down on negotiations with Lord Frey."

You saddled up the rest of your horsemen, and just before the infantry arrived, you left Moat Cailin with your liege lord in the van. The banner of House Stark larger than life, leading the way.

When a halt is called for the night you are ten miles from Moat Cailin, and perhaps another ten from where the Kingsroad forks right to the Twins. That night you are invited to a meal in Lord Starks tent.

The on his command table uses the same set up that you had, due in no small part to the intelligence you provided. He placed the Direwolf markers showing the movement of his column.

"This is where things get tricky. Do we cross with the entirety of the Northern army? Or simply take the horsemen across the Twins to Ruverrun, leaving the infantry to make its way down to the Trident? Both plans have their perils. If we cross with the entire **** we will be stronger, but the road north is open with only Moat Cailin to block the way. If I send the infantry to the Trident, we can keep the fighting south of the river, but our horsemen will be outnumbered. Thoughts?" Lord Stark inquired.

Divide the forces, or cross in its entirety?
