Help arrives!

Suddenly there was a beam of light that shown directly upon Shannon. She splashed in shock, throwing a hand over her head to block the blinding light as she tred water. There, above her was a system class planet hopper, standard rescue for the galactic police ****. She was saved! They'd found her after just a few hours, instead of a few days!

"Down here!" Shannon yelped, waving her arms over her head from the water. The ship moved a few yards off to land. Shannon hurriedly swam towards the small pond's edge to greet her rescuers.

From the ship people started flooding out. A squadron of Galactic officers, armed and in body armor. A few medical technicians, already scanning the area. Shannon, dripping wet, suddenly recalled that she was in her underwear, soaking wet before her fellow officers! She crossed her arms nervously over her chest, looking about for her clothes. She saw them on the far side of the pond. She was about to go retrieve them when a helmeted officer approached.

"Are you injured?" He asked, flipping up his helmet. Shannon recognized him instantly. Lieutenant Burgman, a man from her station. They'd rivaled for promotions a dozen times. And, now he was not only rescuing her, but doing it while she was in her underwear! Shannon blushed and hugged herself, shivering.

"Nothing besides some sun burns." She said.

"I can see that." Burgman said, smirking as he looked her over. Shannon couldn't help but blush as he eyeballed her body. She saw several of the other male officers lifting their helmets to get a better view. She suddenly regretted her decision to swim.

"I.. I've got to get dressed..." Shannon said, more nervously then she intended.

"Hold it!" One of the scientists exclaimed. He was crouched over the water taking readings with his scanner. "We've got dangerous alien microbs here!"

"I'm sure it's nothing...." Shannon started, but Burgman was already barking orders.

"Begin full quarantine procedure!" He yelled. "All contaminated items to be destroyed. All contaminated people to immediate isolation. Let's move people!"

Wait, Shannon was the only contaminated person. And what did they mean, all contaminated items destroyed?
