You stumbled the way back into your apartment, flopping down onto your couch. The pizza landed next to you and your hand reached over slowly, pulling out a slice. You brought it up to your mouth and began to eat, trying to wrap your head around what just occurred.

You had somehow scored a girl's number, not to mention a free pizza, using nothing but an offhand comment. She apparently liked you, but she hadn't admitted it until you had mentioned how much she must have liked you. Maybe confidence was really what girls were actually into all along, like everyone has always claimed? But it couldn't have just been that; things went way too well and far too easily.

You, of course, checked immediately that the number was real. You had sent Sarah a text after a minute of standing around dumbfound in front of your apartment. She replied immediately and the two of you had plans to meet up at 6, giving her plenty of time to get ready after work you and plenty of time to have a minor crisis. You licked your lips, gathering remnants of sauce. God, even this shitty pizza tasted fantastic.

It was a wild guess, but you were beginning to guess that maybe the intense pain you had suffered a few days prior had altered... something in your mouth and/or throat. You really wanted to test it and see what it could do, but you couldn't just go out and try it out on anyone. Not without understand more about what it was capable of. When you thought of people you could try it out on, one immediately came to mind.

Charli. A friend of a friend. The two of you met at your buddy Wyatt's place half a year ago and ended up spending a few weeks messing around. The two of you never went too far: second base and hand jobs, mostly. It was good to relieve some tension, but things went sour between the two of you pretty quick. She lived pretty close by, though, and it wasn't like she was going to make a big fuss if you went to see her; the two of you were still kind of close, in a sense.
