Castle Lanard

You were received by an old steward, the maid Maris, the former lord's wife Ailis and her daughter Lili in the main hall.

"Welcome to your new estate, Sir. I am Niall MacThom, the current steward. We have been awaiting your arrival." The steward said and they all bowed slightly in greeting.

You gave him a slight nod, "Provide food and accommodation for my men, we all had a long ride. Then tell me about the current state of affairs."

Ailis was a beautiful regal woman with a slender figure in her late twenties. She had blonde braided waist length hair and was wearing an expensive dress and jewellery. She emanated a proud, pretentious air as she looked at you and her eyes betrayed her hatred and contempt. Both Lili and Maris were in the bloom of their youth. Lili inherited the looks from her mother but it seemed not her temper. She was visibly uncomfortable around you, somewhat frightened.

Niall informed you about the management of the castle in length as Maris moved to the kitchen to prepare some food. The former Lord entrusted Niall with the administration of his lands and you saw no reason to make any major changes at the moment but...
