He'd rather choose the lake

"I guess we're going to the beach then..." Jack begrudgingly made his decision, as he figured that he'd at least not be bored out of his mind there, compared to wasting his time at the mall. The area surrounding the small lake was fairly nice as well, and if he couldn't stand the company of his daughters he might just be able to go for a walk instead.

It seemed like the girls were all excited about going though, and even Catherine was surprisingly quick to get herself ready, despite her initial argument about visiting the mall. That left only Jennifer with a concerned look on her face, as she'd apparently not got herself a new swimsuit for over a year, and it was easy to see how she'd outgrown the old one, even without her trying it on.

"You can have one of mine!" Kate quick to offer, though her innocent smile gave at least her father some reason to worry. His oldest daughter wasn't really known for being generous after all, except when it came to showing the world as much of her sexy body as possible. None of the others wanted a detour to buy something else however, which just may have been what Catherine had been hoping for, and so she lent one of her own to her younger sister, with the only condition that Jennie wasn't allowed to complain about it.

Thus they arrived by the lake only some twenty minutes later, and Jack was positively surprised about the small amount of other visitors. Perhaps everyone else were visiting the mall on a day like this, if they believed it would be cold in the water, or risk for rain like it did the same morning. The weather was truly perfect though, and they even managed to find a spot where they'd be left pretty much alone.

Sure enough, the beach was a little bit better where the few other visitors had set up their things, but Jack himself had always preferred the grassy slopes on this side of the lake over the fine sand on the other. That wasn't the only reason he wanted his family to keep to themselves of course, as he knew full well what kind of attention his daughters were able to draw, and he didn't need any more stalkers than the one he'd already got.

"Kate...?!" Jennifer suddenly distracted him by raising her voice in objection, while Jack was looking out across the clear blue surface of the lake, and it was followed immediately by Kimberly's amused laughter. He didn't even need to look to know that she'd just been given her borrowed swimsuit, and just like he'd predicted it was obviously much too revealing for a girl like Jennie.

Quite surprisingly she didn't back down from her word though, and after a bit of arguing she still preferred the one she was given, rather than swapping to what Catherine had brought to wear for herself. And for a pretty good reason too, considering how her sister's latest purchase was even more lacking in substance than the previous one.

That didn't mean she looked much happier once they'd changed their clothes though, but still it seemed like she'd rather spend her time out of the water and reading a book or something, like she usually did when they went on small trips like this. The main difference was only that she'd probably stay wrapped in her towel, instead of trying to get just a bit of tan on her pale limbs.

Kimberly on the other hand was already on her way out in the water, before the others had even swapped their clothes, and she played around like a dolphin while Kate was the first one to join her. While it was usually difficult to see how those two were related at all, considering all their differences, they actually had something in common when it came to fooling around and have fun.

Meanwhile, Jack remained for a while on the grassy slope, and only went for a quick dip when his daughters insisted. He wasn't much for taking a bath just for the fun of it, even if it did bring back some memories from the time he'd used to come here with his friends back in high school, and he couldn't decide if he'd rather stay in or join the third girl back on the beach...
