How do you deal with the note?

Find out which student wrote it

It will be pretty easy to find out who the author of this note is. It is written in a neon green ink, and it is doubtful that too many of today's students have a pen with that color. You could simply walk around the room and see which one is writing with the offending instrument, or you could give that person a chance to fess up right away and admit wrongdoing.
