An awkward dinner

You are enjoying James's wonderful meal when he suddenly asks if he can ask you something. You tell him that he can ask you anything.

"Did you take your panties off when you got home?" Your eyes go wide and you are floored by the question. The only response you can muster is, "What?"

"You didn't have any panties on when I pulled up your dress a few mintues ago."

"Oh... Um. Yeah. I wanted to surprise you, so I removed them when I walked in." You realize how unconvincing your lie was as soon as you finished speaking.

"Really? Where are the panties now, then?" You don't have an answer, so you simply stare back at him. "You didn't have any panties on all day, did you? You sat at work with no underwear?"

You look into James's eyes and simply nod your confirmation to his questions.
