"I want this date to be as romantic as possible."

"Okay great, lets make the date special" You say excitedly.

At this your mom comes to the door.

"Ah you must be Doug's date. I'm Lisa his mother." She says to Tiffany

"Hi i'm Tiffany its nice to meet you" Tiffany says with a smile.

Your mom turns to you. "Well she is beautiful and polite, I think you have a keeper there Doug"

You blush as your mom embarrasses you in front of your date. Tiffany notices your discomfort and takes your hand.

"It was nice meeting you Lisa but Dougy and I were just heading off on our date."

"Oh don't let me keep you, go and enjoy yourselves" Your mom says happily.

Tiffany leads you by the hand to your front gate. Your mom watches you two and shouts as you pass through the gate.

"Tiffany, make sure you look after Doug"

"Don't worry Lisa, i'l take good care of him" Tiffany shouts back.

You blush in embarrassment again as your mom and date talk about you like you are girl on her first date.

As you walk down the road with Tiffany holding your hand you grow more and more nervous of someone noticing you. Tiffany chats to you as you walk and that helps you relax a little.

"I'm really glad you dressed up like this for me. You look really pretty, do you know that?"

"Erm thank you, it was my mom's idea" you reply timidly

"I think i'm going to like your mom" she says jokingly

As you approach the cinema you start to pass through some more densely populated areas. You get really nervous as you see familiar faces from your town and you squeeze Tiffany's hand even tighter.

"Tiffany. Could we possibly go through a less crowded area" You ask.

"Why? Ashamed to be seen with me?" she chuckles.

"No not at all its just i'm not usually dressed like this when I go out."

"Ah a bit nervous someone will see you?"

You nod.

"Don't worry Dougy no one will recognize you and you shouldn't be ashamed of being seen anyway. You should be ashamed of all the boys you see dressed in their stuffy boring old trousers. You look far better than they do."

"Why are you wearing jeans then if they're so boring?" you point out.

"Well someone has to wear pants and you certainly aren't" she says with a wink.

You manage to get to the cinema without being identified and head inside to pick what to watch.

"Like I said Doug you can choose the film."

It turns out there are only two films that are starting soon. One is a new Marvel superhero movie you have been wanting to watch and the other is romantic comedy.

What films should you pick? If you choose the action film you will no doubt enjoy it but you may run the risk of Tiffany not enjoying it. If you choose the chick flick Tiffany may enjoy herself more but you will have to sit through it.
