Chapter 11 by zaick zaick

Does Page consider herself ready?

Page feels there is nothing else to fix

She opened the door. Will was not there. She felt a bit of panic. Anyone could have entered any time. She should never have trusted him! She began to move into the hall. They were not quite as crowded, but she was very unsure where Will had led her in the center.

Someone stopped her and asked a picture. She was unsure why, and shook her head. Possibly it was because she was showing so much skin. She double checked nothing was being revealed, then moved on. It was fine.

She saw doors leading outside. Ah! If she was by the streets she could figure out where the hotel was - just a block away depending on which corner she would be let out on. She moved toward it and felt a breeze come from the swinging doors. The breeze met her legs and she felt it moving the spandex.

Immediately she reacted. She knew something could be revealed if the breeze was strong enough - just moving alone was enough to reveal the very sides of her butt cheeks. She stopped moving and grabbed her loincloth, and someone bumped into her from the back, not expecting her to stop. From that, she was knocked to the side, unsteadily, and landed amongst a group of sitting cosplayers.

"What the hell?!" Someone yelled and kicked her. It was someone in a Princess Mononoke costume.

There were others around her, but apparently Page had broken one Mononoke's props. Some small clay something. While some tried to calm Mononoke, the cosplayer immediately began to lash in kicks and swings at Page.

"Bitch! Look what you did!" She screamed and pushed Page again. Page had kept her legs together for assurance nothing would be revealed. It meant it was hard to stand, and she had to hold the wall next to her as well as keep another up to block the errant swings.

"Calm down!" Someone cried while holding Mononoke, but still, she came at Page. Page backed away more, hardly keeping balance. She was afraid. This girl seemed ready to really hurt her. She grabbed a nearby thing to keep her balance at the last moment - a spear. Who's was it? It did not matter. In a fight or flight motion, she swung the spear out. It was not real, of course, but it was long. Mononoke backed away quickly, fearful.

Page ran. She was not sure what to do, really. She more of quickly shuffled herself back to a nearby door, but it was as fast as she could manage. She kept the spear toward Mononoke, who began to approach her again, and that only made Page want to escape more.

Page opened a door and saw she was in the dark, facing some large ropes and a curtain. The door closed behind her and she realized she had to hide. She retreated to the far side of the area - it was a stage. She heard clapping on the other side. Announcements.

As she made her way to the other side, she heard the door open and close. It was out of sight. She would likely be safe-

"Name? Badge number?" She heard someone say. They were dressed in a fancy suit and had a clipboard.

"What?"

"For the contest I need a name and badge number." They peered at her badge hanging above her chest and wrote it down. "Came right in time. Last one up!"

Page looked back and forth. Was there a way out? Where was she? She saw at the other end there was Mononoke, searching for her. She could hide behind the curtain, but that would be the other side.

Whatever. She did it. She strode out to the other side.

Immediately there were the clicks of cameras. She stood there, rather stunned. This was unexpected.

"Ah, Rogue Savage Land!" Someone said. An announcer. He was just to her left. She looked around. She saw herself in the new light. The shifting and the kicks were apparent on her already damaged costume. Her loincloth in front and back were a little loosened in their tucking into the thin pleather belt, but they were there. Her other belt was just fine, still rocking around on her hips. The pleather belt though looked a little weary. There were tiny cracks where she had tied it. It was not really made for tying in knots. It also had loosened and sat lower on her hips than she would have liked. She wondered if it was too low for her back - if it was even as low as her crack. As she stepped forward she tried to feel, for it. It was definitely low, but hard to tell. She wanted to feel it to make sure, but not now in front of so many. She saw her top, wait, here she was, her underboob showing! Without pasties, there were the slight bumps of her nipples poking against the tight spandex. She saw also the tightened spandex, horribly itchy and old as it was, was still stretching away, the runs on either side both left and right especially around that zipper were growing. They were still green, but a transparent green. The very sides of her chest could likely be seen if she raised her arms, but only if someone were close. These people were at least far...

The people! There were so many! Hundreds at least, filling the auditorium. This was one of the cosplay contests they decided against, since there was a panel Jodie wanted to see around this time.
