Completing your costume

Excited, you go online, searching for a nearby costume shop. In few moments you find one, and a search of their website shows they have a range of ears and tails that would work for you. They will be open for another hour, easily enough time for you to get there.

You're about to race out the door when you remember how you're dressed. Hurriedly, you pull a hoody over your corset, and tug a pair of jean shorts on, kicking off your heels and peeling off your stockings and putting on a pair of Converse sneaks.

Dressed, you grab your purse and run out the door. The costume store is less than a mile away, but you walk quickly, looking for a cab. You want to maximise the time you have to find the ears and tail to complete your cat outfit.

You're out of luck as far as cabs go, but make it to the store about half an hour before they close. There are racks of costumes along each wall, and more racks scattered throughout, mixed in with some display cases. You don't see any other customers, but a young man stands behind a counter, apparently checking a catalogue.

"Hi, excuse me," you smile at him. He looks up at you with an easy smile, his eyes sparking with interest.

"Hi there, what can I help you with?"

"Ummm, I'm going to a costume party tomorrow, and I need a couple of items for my costume. I'm going as a cat, and I need ears and a tail."

"We can help you with that," he smiles, leading you to a display case where there is a wide selection of head bands with ears, ranging from coloured sequined versions to more natural colours. You point to a set of black ears and he hands them to you, holding a mirror so you can see how they look on you.

"They're perfect," you grin happily.

"Tails are over here. I'm guessing you want it in black? That kind of limits the choices to one," he says with a smile, holding up a long velvet tail. "It pins on to your costume. If you had that on, you could see how it looks."

You do have it on, you realize. The corset and panties at least. Just hidden under your street clothes. You really want to see how you look with ears and a tail, but you feel shy about stripping down to see how you look in this store. You bite your lip, trying to decide what to do.
