Nervously.

"Uh," said Lance. "Hold on, man."

"Sorry, Lance," said Kevin. "I've been wanting to do that since I met you and it just seemed like the right moment."

Lance looked around to see if anyone else had noticed Kevin's kissing him. There was a young man in the corner who seemed to be looking their way, but he looked down as Lance's eyes met his.

Kev noticed Lance's search. "Are you worried that someone saw us? If that's all, we can always go someplace more private."

Lance found himself aroused despite himself. He didn't know anybody here, and it was somehow exciting that maybe somebody had seen them. Then again, this whole situation was moving pretty fast. Maybe too fast.
