Checking out Charmy you found out it was male. It wasn't all that easy to tail at first but looking over he seemed male, you watched mom petting him getting Charmy relaxed.

"Well sweety let me get you some food and water to take with you on your travels." Mom started whipping up a quick meal, it smelled good. Charmy went out side to explore and you followed, he was running around the garden smelling mom's flowers and garden. He seemed to be enjoying yourself when Mom called you back inside, picking up Charmy you carried him inside.

Mom handed your backpack to you, looking in you found plenty of food for the two of you. "I have one more gift for you." She smiled and handed you a box, pushing you out the door to start your adventure. "Be safe sweety, call me when you can." You walked down the street tell the edge of town holding the gift in your hand.
