A spare pair?

Panicking Eric darts out into the store room, his trousers still in his hand. His only hope is that somewhere out here is a spare pair.

With nothing but boxers and socks on below the waist he begins to search high and low through the staff areas, and as time ticks by he begins to worry that it may become a fruitless quest, especially as there should be another member of staff here at any minute.
