Up the ladder

Stiletto breathed a sigh of relief when she saw the access ladder leading to the top of one of the nearby buildings. She smirked, thinking about what the Hunters would think when she appeared to completely disappear from their little trap.

"Uhh, Stiletto, I'm not sure this is such a great idea..." she heard Morwen say.

"Not now" replied Stiletto.

She jumped up on the ladder, climbed about 10 feet, then slid the bottom of the ladder up into its casing to prevent pursuit. She started up the rest of the way, about 50 feet to go, and began planning her next move.

She was halfway up the ladder when she spotted the drone watching her from the top of the building on the other side of the alley.

"Oh" she whispered, her eyes growing very wide.

"So should I say I told you so now, or when it's inside you?" she heard Morwen say, the smirk clear in her voice.
