New Plan: Run!

Jenny decided she only had a couple of minutes if that, before someone outside decided they were done waiting. If she'd been dealing with professionals they'd probably already be in, as it was she figured it would mostly just be a group composed of whoever happened to be walking by. There was just one small problem. The amateur wannabes who were waiting outside would still be way too much for her.

The answer to her predicament came to Jenny in a flash as if by device inspiration. There were tunnels under the apartment block, well really most of the city. Over a hundred years ago some city planner had decided the best way to lay utilities was not to berry them, but instead to lift the entire city up about a story leaving utility tunnels under all the roads. She'd seen the pictures and she just happened to know that in blatant violation of the city code her building had a door in the basement opening onto these tunnels, she'd happened across it one day on a particularly burring weekend about a year ago. She hadn't ventured in, but she knew it was there and with a bit of luck no one chasing her did.
