You decide to press onward toward the giant glowing tree. The jungle becomes harder to trek as the sun sinks, shadows begin to hide details of the path forward. You start stumping your feet on roots, tripping over many times and even walking straight into trees. The blue trees has grown as well as how close you are to it, however it does not however illuminate your surroundings. You are able to keep moving toward it, but at hardly any speed at all.

You sigh at how bad an idea this was, who choices to do this? But you had ****, you had to finish what you had started. On and on you went, surely hours must of passed, the tree growing larger and larger. Then at long last you came into the trees light, given the trunk was still far away you could now see! The joy was, however short lived as you hear a branch snap.

You drop down into a still crouch. You hear rustling all around you, but you remain still. Whatever it is, surely knows your there, by the locations of the sounds it was making, it must be circling you. Then out from the bush a giant wolf, a foot taller than you creeps out into the blue light. Its fur a stone gray, its sharp piercing eyes glow, focused on you. Its snout sniffing the air, you can see its giant fangs, your whole body is drowning in icy fear.
