Catch the 45 bus

Heading onto the main street, you survey the activities around you. A bus appears to be pulling up to the stop where "Sarah" and "Claire" were trying to catch the bus. Analysing your memory banks of 2004 City Transit data showed the route 45 bus indeed passes near the rendezvous at River Terrace. You command Sarah silently to follow.

An elderly lady disembarks as the two of you boarded. Good, you thought, the last thing you need is unconvertible or useless targets complicating matters. Looking in, you see the bus is characteristically unfilled at this late hour. A male construction worker dozes at the back, two young college girls shuffled nervously in their seats, a young male holding a skateboard was listening to loud thrash metal via his earphones and an attractive looking businesswoman was taking on her cell phone in the front. Your memory banks show that this is a typical bus passenger lineup in the early 21st century.

Boarding the bus, the pretty brunette driver turned and looked up, you could, with a deep mind scan detect a sense of lust as she surveys you and Sarah in your uniforms. This, you thought, may prove useful later. Breaking the deep scan in case you cause too much disorientation (you need her to drive the bus as not to arouse suspicion) you produce some cupro-nickel based metal discs which humans call money and requested two tickets.

"Sur...sure, yeah" the driver shook her head. Must be some kinda trance or somethin', she thought as she closed the bus doors and pulled away.

Taking your seats towards the middle of the bus, you and Sarah calculate your next moves.
